Grafenegg
Grafenegg’s neo-Gothic, English Tudor-style castle is an unusual sight.🏰 The castle’s world-famous summer classical music festival 🎻 and its vast, picturesque park offer unforgettable entertainment for pilgrims to Grafenegg.🥾
The Neo-Gothic Tudor-style castle was built on the site of an original Renaissance-moated castle between 1840 and 1873.
The buildings of the castle serve as a historic riding school, with a modern auditorium, hotel and restaurant. The castle restaurant is run by one of Austria’s most celebrated chefs, Toni Mörwald. It is a venue for major cultural events, as well as conferences, exhibitions and concerts.
The 32 hectares of beautiful English parkland are home to a state-of-the-art glass tower (Wolkenturm) with a 1700-seat square, where a series of high-quality classical music concerts take place throughout the summer.
